The international cultural and educational project in Prague and Dresden has successfully concluded. The primary objective of the project was to create opportunities for practical English language use in a natural, international environment.
English Language Practice with Native Speakers
One of the key advantages of the project was the involvement of professional native-speaker teachers. Throughout the week, they were with the children during both the learning process and sightseeing or cultural and educational activities.Participants were engaged in intensive English lessons, where they developed their speaking, listening, pronunciation, and fluent communication skills in English. In everyday settings, the children had the opportunity to interact with foreign teachers in natural, real-life situations—asking questions, expressing their thoughts freely, and building both their language skills and confidence through practical experience
Cultural Discoveries in Prague
During the project, participants visited significant historical and cultural landmarks in Prague, experienced the atmosphere of the Old Town, and explored ancient historical sites such as the National Museum, the Planetarium, Charles Bridge, the John Lennon Wall, the Head of Franz Kafka, and one of the world's largest zoos.
A key part of the program was a visit to the Prague Planetarium, a prominent space for exploring science and the universe. During the visit, using modern technology, the children had the opportunity to discover fascinating astronomical topics, observe various cosmic phenomena, and study planets, stars, and the mysteries of space up close.
As part of the program, participants also visited Madame Tussauds, one of the world’s most famous museums, known for its unique collection of wax figures. During the visit, the children had the chance to see realistic figures of well-known individuals in world history, culture, science, art, and sports up close.
Nature and Education — A Visit to the Prague Zoo
Visiting the Prague Zoo was an impressive experience for the participants—a place where nature, education, and adventure harmoniously blend. Together, we explored the zoo's diverse areas, observed animals brought from different continents, and learned about their unique traits, habitats, and lifestyles. For the children, this was an opportunity to acquire new knowledge in a real-world setting and to better appreciate the importance of wildlife conservation and animal care.
Sports Activities and Team Building
The project program included not only educational and cultural activities but also sports events. Participants had the opportunity to engage in football and volleyball matches, which served as an important part of their physical activity, teamwork, and friendly competition.
Cultural Day in Germany — Discovering Dresden
We dedicated the final day of the project to exploring the city of Dresden. Dresden is one of Germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities, often referred to as 'Florence on the Elbe.' Located on the banks of the Elbe River, it served as the cultural and political center of the Kingdom of Saxony for centuries. Although Dresden was almost completely destroyed during World War II, today it has been restored and is once again considered one of Europe's most impressive historic cities.
We strolled through the historic city center, which is a true open-air museum. Here, exceptional examples of Baroque architecture stand side by side—the Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, the Royal Palace, the Semper Opera House, and Brühl's Terrace, which offers stunning views of the Elbe. Along the way, we bought plenty of memorable souvenirs and tasted traditional German sausages.
Project Completion and Certificate Awarding
At the end of the project, summary English lessons were held, where participants reflected on the knowledge, experience, and impressions gained during the trip through interactive activities, discussions, and various assignments. To mark the successful completion of the program, each participant was awarded a certificate confirming their active involvement, acquired knowledge, and successful completion of this significant educational experience.
One of the most remarkable and unforgettable parts of the final day was a cruise along the Vltava River. The children had the opportunity to see beautiful Prague from a different perspective and enjoy the city's historic views, famous architectural landmarks, and unique atmosphere. This magical evening spent on the river added an even warmer and more emotional conclusion to the trip.This day served as a summary of the impressions, friendships, discoveries, and happy moments accumulated throughout the project.
Returning from Prague, every participant brought back not only new knowledge and experience, but also countless fond memories that will remain in their hearts for a long time
