COURSE DESCRIPTION

The English course for entrants involves the knowledge of all the issues required by the Ministry of Education for successful passing of the Unified National Exam for university admission. The course includes both grammatical issues and vocabulary enrichment, writing letters and essays, listening tasks, and working on tests.

Students are enrolled in the course on the basis of testing or interviews and is tailored to both individual and group learning. The course will be taught by certified teachers with many years of experience working with entrants.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The goal of the course is to prepare the applicant for the English language exam, both technically and psychologically. Using pre-initiated scenarios, we improve his/her critical thinking skills in real situations. Our goal is for the applicant to successfully pass the entrance exam.

What level of foreign language proficiency do I need to join a Spoken English course?

In order to be able to join the course and the course is effective for you, you should have at least a B1 level of English.

Can I take just 1 level of the course?

In our experience, it is practically impossible to transfer and master the material of the entrance exam course in 1-2 months. In addition, the course will not be result-oriented. The approximate period for successful completion of the course is 7-8 months.

What textbooks do you use during the course?

In addition to Cambridge and Oxford licensed literature, we use specific textbooks for national exams, approved by the Ministry of Education, in the learning process.

Are the textbooks used in the course free or priced?

If you decide to study online and do not want to buy textbooks, we will provide you with PDF versions completely free of charge. The cost of textbooks is 15 -35 GEL, depending on the number of textbooks. You can buy textbooks at our learning center or at a bookstore.

Do I have to pay in advance when registering for the course?

Of course not. You only pay after we have jointly agreed on a study schedule and you have finally agreed to start studying according to the agreed schedule.

How do I pay?

You can make the payment once a month by bank transfer.

Before making a decision, can I attend a trial lesson?

Yes, of course. Attending a trial lesson takes place after an individual interview, as we need to determine your level of knowledge and offer you a group of the appropriate level. Please note that the lesson is paid and costs 40 GEL. In case you decide to start studying, the amount paid will be deducted from the tuition fee.

Will I get a certificate after completing the course?

No certificate will be issued for this course. Our measure of success is your successful passing of the Unified National English Language Exam.
