FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How can I apply for the course?

To attend the course, please select the desired course, course options (online, offline, individual, group) and add the course to your cart. Then open the cart and complete the registration process by filling out the required questionnaire. After registration, we will contact you shortly and schedule an interview to determine your level of knowledge, after which we will offer you the appropriate level group and schedule.

2. Can I join you online?

Yes, of course. We offer both offline /in the center and online classes. You can join us from anywhere in the world. We use the Google Meet / Google Classroom platform for online classes. Before starting classes, you need to create an account. You also need a high-speed internet connection, a headset, and a webcam.

3. What is your teaching method?

Our method is “easy, fun, interactive”. The method involves on-site teaching, without homework. In order to make it easier for the listener to perceive the information provided, we use various tools: blackboard, slide, illustration, video, audio, photo, etc. Also, our approach is that the student learns a foreign language with pleasure. Therefore, we often hold energizers, organize interactions, role-playing exercises, dictation, vocabulary revision and various activities. The lesson process takes place in a friendly environment, in a completely foreign language. Time passes very quickly in fun and energetic lessons. 

4. How is payment made?

50% of the full course fee must be paid 1 day before the start of the course, and the next 50% must be paid in exactly 1 month.

5. Do you issue a certificate?

Yes, of course! The certificate is issued from level B1+ (Intermediate Level), after successfully passing the appropriate level test.

6. Can I attend a trial lesson?

Yes, of course. Attending a trial lesson takes place after an individual interview, as we need to determine your level of knowledge and offer you a group of the appropriate level. Please note that the lesson is priced and the cost is 40 GEL. In case the student decides to join the group, the amount paid will be deducted from the tuition fee.

7. How many students are in a group?

There are a maximum of 8 students in a group. The lessons are structured so that students work in pairs. They are maximally involved in the lesson process.

8. How long do I need to start speaking?

If you are starting to learn English or Russian from the basic level, it takes at least 3 months to start speaking by composing simple sentences. During these 3 months, you will enrich your vocabulary and master several grammatical tenses. Also, it all depends on the student's efforts and the intensity of the lessons. You can study 2, 3 or 5 days a week.

9. Can I attend just a few lessons with you?

Our learning center is focused on quality and result-oriented teaching. Therefore, we do not sell a few lessons, but one full course, the duration of which is 3-4 months.

10. Do you teach American English or British English? What is the difference between them?

Both are taught in our center. British and American English are almost the same, but there are very big differences in the pronunciation and spelling of the words. Some words are also found in American and British English with different meanings, for example: Color > Colour. 

British grammar is very similar to American grammar, although there are differences, especially in prepositions. For example: in Britain they say See you on Friday, while in The USA – See you Friday.

11. What happens if a lesson falls on a public holiday?

We take a break on all official holidays specified by Georgian law. Official holidays are:

  • December 31 – January 7 – Christmas, New Year;
  • January 19 – Epiphany;
  • March 8 – International Women’s Day;
  • April 9 – Independence Day;
  • Easter holidays – Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
  • May 9 – Victory Day over Fascism;
  • May 12 – Andrew the First-Called Day;
  • May 26 – Georgian Independence Day;
  • August 28 – Day of the Assumption of Mary;
  • October 14 – Svetitskhovloba;
  • November 23 – St.George’s day;

Note: As a rule, instead of the 12 lessons scheduled, 13 lessons are held during the month. Which compensates for missed lessons on the public holiday.

12. I am a foreign citizen (or immigrant). Can I study online?

Yes, of course! We have students from many countries. Select the desired course and register. We will contact you shortly and provide all the information about the course schedules and other details.

13. Can you provide me with the documents required for a visa?

If you are planning to come to Georgia and study in our learning center, first select the desired course and register. After that we will schedule an online interview with you and offer you a course schedule. After agreeing on the details, we can provide you with:

      1. Official invitation to the course;

      2. Invoice;

After that, you must book the course at least 2 weeks earlier and pay the full price of the course in advance (important: the advance payment is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another time in case you cannot attend the course on the specified dates). Upon receipt of the payment, we will send you

      3. Official course enrollment document.

In addition to the 3 documents mentioned above, we do not provide additional documentation for visa preparation.
